Vesta Projects’ Contribution to the North London Heat and Power Project
The North London Heat and Power Project (NLHPP) is one of the most significant public‑sector infrastructure programmes currently under way in the UK. Led by the North London Waste Authority, the redevelopment of the Edmonton EcoPark will replace ageing facilities with a modern, efficient, and environmentally responsible waste management hub serving two million residents across north London.
Vesta Projects is proud to support this transformation. Appointed by EDP, and working closely with Acciona, we provide Principal Designer Advisor expertise to help ensure that safety‑in‑design principles are embedded throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Through our appointment by EDP, Vesta Projects provides Principal Designer Advisor support across the programme. Our role is to ensure that design decisions are made with safety, clarity, and long‑term operability in mind, and that all parties remain aligned with CDM 2015 requirements.
